Journal calls for WPFD submissions

Pacific Journalism Review is inviting articles for special 2010 World Press Freedom Day edition.

The prestigious New Zealand-based regional journal the Pacific Journalism Review has issued a call for articles and commentaries for its next edition, a special themed publication to be linked to the University of Queensland-hosted UNESCO World Press Freedom Day international conference in Brisbane (1-3 May).

The editors of the forthcoming WPFD edition are seeking articles and commentary which explores key contemporary media freedom and freedom of information themes from a range of Asia Pacific and global perspectives.

The PJR is a peer-reviewed journal that covers media and communication issues in the South Pacific and Asia-Pacific regions, including in Australia and New Zealand. It is published bi-annually by the Pacific Media Centre at AUT University (formerly known as the Auckland University of Technology).
