Events at World Press Freedom Day 2010 will be streamed live on the internet from May 1 to 3.
This year’s UNESCO conference, being hosted by The University of Queensland, will be broadcast on the internet via Livestream.
Observers will be able to follow the opening and closing ceremonies as well as presentations and plenary sessions by tuning into the Livestream channel.
Coverage will feature interviews with speakers, delegates and guests.
Livestream also allows for participation. Through a chat function, users will be able to ask questions and comment on proceedings.
Join in on Saturday May 1 as this annual conversation about press freedom and the public’s right to know gets underway.
